Elumelu Hosts U.S. Lawmakers to strengthen Africa–U.S. Partnership

F Founder of the Tony Elumelu Foundation, Tony Elumelu, recently hosted a bipartisan delegation of six members of the United States Congress in Abuja as part of engagements aimed at deepening Africa–U.S. relations.

The high-level meeting, held at the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja, focused on strengthening economic cooperation, promoting entrepreneurship, and advancing Africa’s development agenda through strategic partnerships.

Chief Executive Officer of the Tony Elumelu Foundation, Somachi Chris-Asoluka, joined the engagement, highlighting the Foundation’s impact in empowering African entrepreneurs and driving sustainable growth across the continent.

The visit underscores the Foundation’s role in fostering dialogue between Africa and global partners while reinforcing shared commitments to inclusive economic transformation.
