Valverde Praises Real Madrid’s Renewed Consistency After Hard-Fought Victory

R Real Madrid midfielder Fede Valverde has applauded his team’s improved consistency and stronger match control following their latest hard-fought win, noting that the squad showed significant progress compared to recent performances.

Speaking after the encounter, Valverde admitted that early concessions had become a worrying pattern in previous games, prompting discussions within the squad and technical staff.

“We were always conceding goals far too early,” he said. “Today we said something very clear in the locker room, which was to try to change that, to try pressing high, and going out to score the first goal.”

According to him, the renewed strategy paid off, as scoring first gave Real Madrid “more peace of mind” and allowed them to dictate the game’s tempo instead of battling from behind.

Valverde also highlighted the team’s defensive discipline and better attacking cohesion, noting that several forwards are currently in excellent scoring form.

“We have some key players now who are scoring goals almost with every ball they touch, so we’re happy with the win,” he added.

Expressing personal gratitude, Valverde praised the unity and culture within the squad.

“I’m thrilled to be part of this team… it’s an honor to have teammates who always support me,” he said, emphasizing that collective effort remains central to the club’s progress.
